1. Educational purpose
PetNutriCalc provides general educational estimates and information. Calculator outputs are starting points, not individualized veterinary diagnoses, prescriptions, treatment plans, or guarantees of nutritional adequacy.
2. No veterinarian-client-patient relationship
Using this website does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. PetNutriCalc does not examine your animal and cannot account for every medical condition, medication, laboratory result, pregnancy/lactation status, growth pattern, disease risk, food formulation, or environmental factor.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for entering accurate information, checking the pet-food label, monitoring your pet’s body weight and body condition, and obtaining veterinary advice when needed. Do not delay professional care because of information shown on this website.
4. Estimates and changing needs
Energy, hydration, feeding, growth, and age-equivalence outputs are estimates. Individual needs can differ materially from calculated values and can change over time. Reassess results as weight, age, activity, health, environment, or diet changes.
5. Weight-loss and health-sensitive use
Weight-loss targets should be set and monitored with veterinary guidance. Cats should not undergo abrupt or unmonitored calorie restriction. Pets with illness, pregnancy/lactation, unusual growth, persistent gastrointestinal signs, urinary changes, or other health concerns require individualized veterinary assessment.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, PetNutriCalc’s original site design, explanatory copy, calculator interface, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. External references, trademarks, images, and resources remain the property of their respective owners and are used subject to their applicable licenses or terms.
7. Third-party resources
Links to external organizations or websites are provided for reference and convenience. A link does not mean that the third party verifies, sponsors, or endorses PetNutriCalc.
8. Availability and changes
The site may be modified, corrected, suspended, or discontinued without notice. Formulas, wording, reference links, and features may be updated as better evidence or technical improvements become available.
